Separation by ultrasound is a novel technique for the separation of
small particles from fluids without the need for invasive components
such as membranes, or moving components required with centrifuges or
spin filters.
A
SONOSEP TM ultrasonic separation system is always comprised of two components: An ultrasonic controller generating an electric driving signal of defined power and frequency, and a chamber of defined geometry where the driving signal is converted into an ultrasonic standing wave field that acts as a virtual mesh to the dispersion flowing through the chamber.
